15-Minute Friday Dinner

Before heading out to celebrate our friend's birthday on Friday, I put together a quick meal to fill our stomachs and ensure we don't get drunk too easily. My goal was accomplished, although this only meant it took my husband a lot more booze to get to the state of drunkenness he set out to achieve for the evening, taking advantage of my twice-a-year offer to drive home.

So I had a package of perlini pasta, stuffed with prosciutto, from Trader Joe's. I made a quick sauce with a can of tomato sauce, garlic, basil and a handful of dried Italian herbs. I steamed some broccoli on the side, and 15 minutes later, we had a quick, tasty meal.
