Salad and Sandwich: Mixed Herbs and Turkey

I like herbs, and recently an herb salad has been on my mind. A few weeks ago I bought some tarragon, which I don't use often, and was determined to waste none of it. This started a week of herb salads.
For my salad greens, I had tarragon, parsley and watercress. To that I added radishes, olives, avocado, tomatoes, and feta. Then, I made a balsamic vinaigrette. The husband thought I had made some sort of discovery, and he wanted me to package it and sell it. But I had to break it to him gently that I did not invent herb salads. He's just. . . behind the times. It was a blow to him.
Our sandwiches were rather simple. The husband's homemade bread, mayo (which I don't like, but decided this sandwich could use it), mustard, watercress, tomatoes, avocado, smoked turkey, and Muenster cheese. I usually always add salad dressing on my sandwich greens, but these were hard enough to eat, and with the salad on the side, it wasn't really necessary.

  1. What kind of homemade bread was that? Looks good! I love my carbs.!!!

  2. The husband's sourdough wheat creation.
