Pasta Bake with Bacon and Pea Sauce (and surpise salami)

Several weeks ago, when I made this gnocchi dish, I also made extra sauce and froze it. A couple weeks ago, I had somehow squandered my day away without giving much thought to dinner. So when I opened the fridge at 6 pm, I found salami and Gruyere cheese, then remembered the sauce in the freezer. Within 40 minutes, we had a tasty pasta casserole.

Lesson learned: extra sauce saves the day. (Also, adding salami to a dish is fun.)
